Functional Behavior Analysis & Assessment
A Functional Behavior Assessment or FBA, is a behavior assessment conducted by qualified behavior analysts in order to analyze why an individual behaves in a certain way when he/she is subjected to a set of conditions.
By evaluating the impact of environmental factors on the behavior of individuals, the intent behind unconditional behaviors can be easily determined and accordingly individualized programs can be developed to help them improve upon their behaviors.
Speech & Language Assessment and Evaluation
Speech therapy is used to treat a wide range of disorders pertaining to speech and other oral motor functions. An experienced speech-language pathologist provides speech therapy for children by helping them improve their speech and ability to understand languages, including various non-verbal signs.
Speech and Language Therapists for children and speech therapists for adults collaborate and work as part of a comprehensive clinical team of providers in conducting developmental and educational assessments and serve as part of a child’s/student’s treatment team.
Occupational Therapy/Sensory Integration Assessment & Evaluation
Occupational therapy (OT) plays a crucial role in the life of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as it helps them achieve their developmental milestones. OT intervention along with sensory integration helps improve their fine motor skills and enhances their hand-eye coordination and sensory areas of need.

A Diagnostic Assessment is a series of tests which includes direct testing, interaction and observations of the individual and a keen observation of all the characteristics that are included in the DSM-V criteria. For ASD, early diagnosis and detection is highly recommended, but diagnosis at any age will help families of the individuals understand their child’s needs clearly.

Psycho-educational (intellectual) Assessment
A psycho-educational (intellectual) assessment is conducted to determine if intellectual dysfunction exists in a individual. Screening of these aspects will help specialists understand the precise areas an individual needs help with and can accordingly develop programs that concentrate to improve them particularly in these areas.
A comprehensive assessment and evaluation of the child’s behavior is required in order to ensure accurate diagnosis of an individual. A comprehensive assessment and evaluation determines if an individual meets the criteria for a particular disorder that is outlined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual-5th Edition (DSM-V), after which a suitable diagnosis/therapy would be suggested by clinicians. After the child has been observed and the assessment is completed, a diagnosis is determined, individualized goals and objectives are formulated, and a treatment plan is prepared.
