Community outreach refers to creative services provided by an individual to a community or persons who require assistance. The goal of community outreach is to ensure that various individuals get what they need and to eventually reduce their dependence on the community.

Being a part of a community helps your child in making life choices (by helping and observing those in need). The team which provides services to a community also provides assistance with daily activities. Communities get assistance and support on various activities such as going to school, the workplace, etc.

Stepping Stones has been involved in ongoing community projects around the world. We enhance community awareness in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and advocacy for early intervention using evidence-based treatment practices. Our specialty lays in the clinical aspect of services. We believe in providing the individuals we serve with an opportunity to exude their many hidden talents

Community Outreach serves as an important liaison between the Stepping Stones team and the community at large. Since its inception, Stepping Stones has earnestly sought to raise awareness for Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental and behavioral disorders through our thoughtfully designed outreach programs. We have witnessed parents, teachers, students, and everyone involved experience immense value in participating in these programs.

At Stepping Stones, we take our duty to educate and help communities that are affected in any way by behavioral or developmental disorders, seriously. We have conducted several conferences and workshops for creating awareness on Autism Spectrum Disorder and helping parents and professionals understand how to best deal with children that have been diagnosed.

We have successfully achieved various milestones through our community outreach programs and we will strive to continue introducing such initiatives.
