Assessment & Evaluation Process

An assessment and evaluation helps ensure a proper diagnosis and recommended course of treatment. This will help determine if a child meets diagnostic criteria for a condition outlined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual-5th Edition (DSM-5), such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Learning Disorder, Dyslexia, Language Disorder, Sensory Process Disorder, etc. through administration of a variety of standardized testing measures/assessment tools. Such evaluation outcomes will help determine appropriate treatment recommendations to address the child’s areas of need. Such recommendations guide the course of treatment through the development of individualized treatment plan along with goals and objectives. Our assessment and evaluation process evaluates for diagnostic and current levels of functioning in speech and language development, behavior, sensory processing, and motor functioning, cognitive, and learning skills by qualified psychologists, behavior analysts, speech therapists, and occupational therapists based on standardized testing and age norms.
